Just shows how bright you are smiling, this article refers to the US which can afford to have a service sector as it's manufacturing base has not been decimated.
As I posted yesterday, unless this country stops relying on the financial and service sector and starts making things and exporting again, we are just going to go further and further down the pan.
One final point to consider. A lot of the service sector can be offshored just as easily as manufacturing so I wouldn't count on a drop in unemployment for years to come which will hardly boost the economy.
