Recovery fears spark global selloff

Cnn: Recovery fears spark global selloff

"We are now down to how companies are going to grow. The growth we have seen out of Japan as well as Europe looks like it has been primarily based on government stimulation ... The question is, is this sustainable?"

While most U.K residents think that money grows on trees (government printing money) I suspect that retail sales will hold up well and thus the economy. Someday sterlings value will fall and the BoE will be forced to raise interest rates to defend it. Once this happens then I think the day of reckoning will have arrived. The problem is that most U.K. residents and bankers are so daft that they really believe that the government can keep on priniting money so it may be sometime before the crunch comes.
