Hope is a big word!

Guardian: New hope that the UK is pulling out of recession

"Although the economy has shrunk in the past five quarters, today's figures and a week of improved news from Britain's banks suggest growth could return by the end of year."
...could return. Yeah and Wolves "could" win the premiership thi syear. Lots of things "could happen" but this is not journalism its vacant speculation to arouse the sheeple.

The Architect: Humph. Hope, it is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of your greatest strength, and your greatest weakness.

Massive rising unemployment and rising house prices? What sound minded government or individual thinks this is acceptable? Also, who is buying these houses because I feel it is not just the super rich moving about. I think that lots of wealthy individuals, earning no interest in bank accoutns and finding the markets too volatile, are buying property, cash, and renting it to net a reasonable 5% or so return.

Obviously there is fudging here and there but there is a huge shift (again) of proeprty to the already very wealthy.

Can't imagine many sheeple reading the Guardian, nothing about Jordan, Big Brother or East Enders to attract their interest.

I think 'sheeple' now encompasses far more than you might have first thought.
