Did anyone notice???
Cnn: 5 more banks fail
egional banks in Oklahoma, Florida, Ohio, Illinois and New Jersey fall, bringing the national tally up to 69 for 2009. The closures cost the FDIC $912 million.

No I didn't notice. A bank failing in the US these days is a bit like saying there were some car crashes at the weekend, it generally only gets reported in the local newspapers.
