Yes, a few people are buying big expensive houses at the moment. Why don't YOU, in fact all of us buy a house, a bigger house or a second house. It's easy, you could quit your day job with the money you'll earn. I can see a utopia. No more work, endless wealth for all. No more poverty, famine or disease. The whole world reaping the benefits of house price inflation. Everyone’s a winner. God bless Gordon.

Listen to you, worrying about unemployment and debt. Don’t, the government will bail you out. I know a few people who do science and engineering and stuff, all day, you know, like those German mugs, the ones who’s economy is doing infinitely better than ours. They make enough money to allow all of us to live for free, all we have to do is borrow a shed load of money, buy an already overpriced bag of poo and then sit back and get rich. Perfect!

After the loses Halifax has been making I would not be surprised if they report house price rises. Unfortunatelly we have got to the end of house price rises.
