I predicted false dawns (or dead cat bounces, depending on your definition..) but I did not expect to see such conviction in the eventual rebound of the market that many people would intentionally leave their old homes empty when they moved house. That, I think, has had the effect of stopping the unaffordability for FTB's from dragging the market down.
Sustainable? Of course not. Tedious? Certainly.
Patience will be rewarded..
