Breakingnews.ie: Slight rise in UK house prices
House prices in England and Wales moved upwards for the first time in almost a year and a half in June, figures revealed today.
The average cost of a property in England and Wales increased by 0.1% during the month, following a 0.2% slide in both April and May, according to the UK Land Registry.
The group said the June rise is the first positive monthly change since January 2008.
