Once upon a time, mortgages were really quite simple affairs, and everyone understood them.
Today, the mortgage providers seem to have no shame or conscience about trying to deceive people.
The same applies to savings schemes.
The god of 'choice' is being used as an excuse to cheat people.
Forget the guff about finding the 'right product' to suit the individual's needs - that's BS and we know it.
Lets have standardised, simple, and easily understood lending and savings schemes; so no-one is deceived, or seduced into borrowing more than they can afford to repay.
