Excellent checklist for a bugler with time on their hands.
Wonder if the author was ever a drug dealer.

I expect that most burglars are not particularly devious or thorough when looking for things. According to police I spoke with a while back, they usually want to get in and out quickly. If you have a substantial quantity of hidden cash/valuables and an obvious place for storing personal papers, like a filing cabinet, I'd suggest leaving a little cash in an easy to spot location in the filing cabinet e.g. £100. If the burglar finds that, they'll probably be satisfied with a bit of quick cash and scarper. You insurance should cover small sums of cash.

If the armageddon theories come true, then you would be better off with a stash of vegetable seeds and tubers. Cash or gold won't be worth squat!
