Mr Brown also spoke of the "common purpose" between Lord Mandelson and him, saying that the Labour party had finally come round to Lord Mandelson, adding that he felt "there's a great affection for him now".

Delusional, utterly delusional…

I think if you stay you will be the worst Labour Leader ever (worse than Michael Foot), and the worst Prime Minister. You will certainly have your place in history, presiding over failing banks, failing economy, deficits our grandchildren will still be paying for, and the demise of the Labour Party as a viable political party. You will be blamed for the rise of the BNP, increased social unrest, poor educational outcomes, and after this winter of swine flu hospital admissions, the near collapse of the National Health Service.

Guy's i think you are being to harsh on the man that saved the world, or should i say sold the world ! Let him have a honourable way out, give him a browning 6mm pistol, 1 bullet and then turn your back, no hold that last one, walk out of the room would be the smartest idea ! Then maybe offer the same option to all the other mp's, bankers, high flying tax dodging corrupt corporate businessman that have been shafting us for years.. Just an idea !

It gets even stranger tonight as the Telegrath reports 'Gordon Brown is to appear on Songs of Praise as he attempts to "reconnect" with voters'; and in the Mirror 'Gordon Brown admitted last night he could become a teacher after his political career ends'.

If Broon is to go, then we well have Medleson at the helm of the sinking UK plc. God help all those that sink in her.
