Spring bounce! Spring bounce!

BBC: Spring bounce in mortgage lending

Not much to add really, it's just the Spring Bounce - it does funny things to people's capacity for rational thought.

The BBC have never had any capacity for rational thought when it comes to house prices.

This follows the 'double dip recession' theory nicely. More falls later this year and into 2010 IMHO.

"But the figure remains 28% down on the same month the previous year, the Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) said."

So April 2008 with its crashing property market was better than this April ie. the housing market really is in the sh1t!

I'm afraid the Spring bunny has already been put in the pot, with a big fat W branded on it's behind.

I've looked at this website for many years now and I am starting to lose patience. I sold years ago (my house tripled in value) and have been left with a tidy sum that I could live off. I now face lower interest rates and am not getting the return I once did. I'm thinking of buying, any comments?
