think ive heard of people doing this for commercial prop, but not residential.

Thanks for the tip. Not sure I will ever be able to afford an expensive enough house to use this one, but then if I wait a few more years, house prices will have come down by far more than I would ever save by avoiding stamp duty.

Anyone got a hyperlink to the article that avoids the need to register/sign-in? Citywire seem to have covered up all cached back-routes via Google.
