Some of us in the real world work that hard we don't have time to eat
London Evening Standard: We're forced to eat out at restaurants, says Beckett
With a grace and favour place in Whitehall and a flat in London as well as the marvelous subsidised restaurants in the House of Commons open all day bleating Beckett's fall on death ears as far as Londoners are concerned.

Why not take over one of the big tourist hotels in Central London and force MPs to stay there (for free). Simple rule: You are an out of town MP, so you get a flat. A restaurant could be provided. Communal services will have WiFi. All "Security Patrols" will be provided by the government, so no need to claim your own on expenses! A free car shuttle to Westminster would save on taxis (who wants to ride on the District/Circle line anyway)!
