Latest Flat Flippin MP
Telegraph: MPs' expenses: John Austin claims £35,000 for flats 11 miles from home
"John Austin, a Labour MP, claimed more than £10,000 in expenses for the redecoration of his London flat, which was 11 miles from his main home, before selling it for a profit. He made £30,000 on the sale and then bought a new flat 1.5 miles away, claiming £10,000 in stamp duty and charges incurred during the move, and a further £15,000 on a new bathroom, kitchen, carpets and appliances". (I'm so glad house prices only go UP).

He'll be needing some sort of rebate now the value has gone down.

@ timmy t,
There will be lots of rebates for some of them, how about....."James Clappison claims £100,000 but owns 24 houses".

As you can see, there was no incentive for MPs of either party towards warning about the housing bubble. They all wanted to get richer and richer for just sitting there....
Lets hope the Telegraph isn't gagged and keeps on "drip feeding" petrol onto the burning anger of the electorate.

I already thought about that, and I seriously think the slimy sh*ts would try it on. It seems that property really is a one way bet... except for hard working honest folk.

I cannot beleive there is a discussion about whether the leader of the house should go. Surely the debate should centre around the whether we hang him or burn him alive ?
I really think we need to make examples of these idiots, and hanging is too good for them.
