Houses and Mortgages at the Centre of the Fraud

Telegraph: MPs' expenses: Officials colluded over mortgage claims

"House of Commons officials colluded with MPs to let them make inflated claims on their mortgages, leaked internal documents seen by The Telegraph have disclosed". "Parliamentary authorities, overseen by Michael Martin, the Speaker, gave secret permission for some MPs to over-claim for thousands of pounds in home loan interest in deals that led to the systematic abuse of the taxpayer-funded expenses system". (I think MPs wanted House Prices to inflate to maximise profits on second homes - they wanted a bubble, didn't they?).

Sack the bloody lot of them and call a general election. All those that lose their seats should be sent to Afghanistan to patrol alongside our poorly equipped troops.

I know that this is widely off the website topic but I am spitting blood.

@Japanese Uncle

Please don't insult pigs like that - they don't deserve to be compared with MPs.

"The Daily Telegraph has disclosed that two Labour MPs, Elliot Morley and David Chaytor, claimed for mortgages that did not exist. They say the claims were an oversight. Both have been suspended from the parliamentary party and face police investigations.

It is feared that if other MPs were allowed to inflate mortgage claims, with the authority of the fees office, the problem may be far wider and could lead to widespread criminal action."

Come on Inspector Knacker! If you were willing to arrest Damien Green, surely it's time to get these fraudsters! Don't forget your handcuffs.

You are right. Bacons amd hams are so tasty, and good for our health, but MPs are of absolutely no use as they are so distasteful

If I was still in England, having read that, I would be looking to riot! I already find the corruption in parliament distasteful, and thier incompetence annoying, but this is a step too far!

From one corner of their piggy mouths, Labour politicians were blatantly lying about doing anything to assist FTBers.

The Filthy swine on the other hand, were making huge capital gains, by buying and selling property.

There was NEVER any POLITICAL WILL to help people get onto the housing ladder.

They have suckered us for a decade.

Certain Labour politicians should be hung drawn and quartered, and their heads placed on pikes, outside the Tower of London
