RICS says house prices stabilizing
Reuters: House prices fall slowest since February '08
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors' monthly property survey reported that its seasonally adjusted house price balance rose to -73.1 in March from -78.1 in February.

So let's get this straight - house prices are still falling rapidly, but the rate of change of the fall is slightly less?

If house prices are falling it is a good thing not a bad thing. Generations to come will strugle to own a property. We have no right to shut the door to young people. It is getting worse than the feudalism where a few aristocrats owned all the land and people had to work it for their bread.
Today's capitalism must create better quality goods (including houses) and at better prices simply because we advance. Well I guess Obama's advisers share diferent view on how to get rich...
