290,000 Jobs to go in City ?
Here is the City News: 290,000 Jobs Likely To Go In London Before End Of 2011
I think the figure is actually 29,000 ?
No "green shoots" in the UKs property price engine forecast then.

This time last year, job losses were predicted to be 40 000.
Anyone know what the losses have actually been so far?

The report quotes the average of independent forecasters to predict an increase in UK jobless claims of about 0.35 million in the UK overall through to 2010.
So 290,000 in London, over two years, seems closer to the mark than 29,000.
Hope I'm wrong.

Here Is The City are the most useless news site I have ever had the misfortune to stumble across.
Don't even bother reading their articles!

Give them all a free seat at the Olympics to boost visitor numbers, because no one else will come. China did the same.
