Telegraph: G20 summit: Gordon Brown announces 'new world order'

Gordon Brown announced the creation of a "new world order" after the conclusion of the G20 summit of world leaders in London.
The Prime Minister claimed to have struck a "historic" deal to end the global recession as he unveiled plans to plough more than $1 trillion into the world economy.
"This is the day that the world came together to fight back against the global recession," he said. "I think a new world order is emerging with the foundation of a new progressive era of international co-operation,"

Brown DOES do God as he calls for new world order in sermon at St Paul's

Gordon Brown has made an overtly religious call for a new world order based on the 'deep moral sense' shared by all faiths.

Making the first speech by a serving Prime Minister at St Paul's Cathedral in London, he quoted scripture as he urged people to unite to forge a new 'global society'.

From Gordon's speech:
"The Organisation of Economic Cooperation and development are this afternoon publishing a list of tax havens that are non-compliant and where action must immediately be taken and we have agreed tough standards and sanctions for use against those who don't come into line in the future. We will create a new Financial Stability Board to ensure cooperation across frontiers to spot risks to the economy and together with the International Monetary Fund provide the early warning mechanism that this new global economy needs."

So the government thinks it can do better than the market and will use tough sanctions against anybody who resists. I feel safer already.

Not.

'We will create a new Financial Stability Board to ensure cooperation across frontiers'. Sounds like an excellent new gravy train sprouting from the wreckage of his mismanagement. I'm glad to know I'll be paying for yet another layer of toothless regulatory bodies. It's a brilliant system (one trialled so successfully in the public sector) whereby you have so many regulators, strategists and managers that when something goes wrong the trail of blame runs cold and life simply pootles on.

Another pathetic attempt to divert attention from the state of the domestic economy.

Fundamentalist Islamics often use quotes from the Koran, out of context, to encourage political ends. Brown is a struggling politician and will use any quotation, biblical or not, in an attempt to persuade people to go along with his political plans.

One of the key threads of the Bible is repentance. An apology for mishandling the economy would not be out of place.

Another thread is honourable relationships. From my standpoint, it's interesting to see how Gordon wants the church to support him in government while at the same time is trying to quietly undermine any influence christians might have in this country.

Its rather frustrating that chaps like myself were seen as kooks for reporting this, when we had a chance to peacably do something about it.

The New World Order is global regulation (absent common law, goodbye Magna Carta) and money printing by the very banker/counterfeiters who created the dot.com, housing bubble and depression, and a heck of a lot more.

There are two ways to prepare for the coming global fiscal easing; buy a large tup of vaseline, or purchase vast quantities of gold.
