Rotonda is another SW Florida holiday home hell. Restaurants/local businesses which only came along because of the 'boom' are closing and holiday homes are being left empty. After all, who would want to rent a holiday home in a fast-deteriorating area? Brits who bought thinking these holiday rentals would pay for their luxury homes have had a hell of a shock. Are we looking at the 'squats' of the future here?
No wonder they've declared a state of emergency!
