Downward trend continues

Mortgagestrategy: Average house price slumps to 2006 level

House prices in England and Wales fell by 0.9% in March, taking them back to March 2006 levels, shows the latest data from Acadametrics.
This represents the thirteenth consecutive monthly price fall, with prices now 13.4% lower than a year ago. All ten regions in England and Wales are showing prices falling on an annual basis and the same is true on a monthly basis apart from Wales.

no way !!! house prices where i live certainly aren't falling , in fact i cannot believe the prices people are asking for properties still, unless it is a tatty old terraced house that needs gutting hosr prices have dropped by no more than 10% if you are LUCKY
