Citywire.co.uk/: SFO probes £56m alleged property fraud against AIB
The Serious Fraud Office is investigating a £56 million alleged property fraud against Allied Irish Banks’ (AIB) office in London.
The alleged fraud concerns the purchase of a number of UK investment properties between 2003 and 2007 for which AIB’s corporate banking department provided loans.
