HIP-Consultant.co.uk: Are we forgetting savers as interest rates drop?

I've started using my savings to buy Premium Bonds. Maybe I'll get lucky. For the small amount of interest I am getting from the bank, I would rather have a punt and the chance of winning far more. Even if I don't win anything in the next few years, at least it won't be 'costing' very much in lost 'interest'.

Notbuyingoneyet, great idea, not thought of that. Your logic is well thought out in the current market. I wonder if there has been a rise in number of premium bonds purchased recently.
