So his cabinet admits Brown got it wrong, Darling admits Brown got it wrong. Brown admits nothing.

Brown shows all the traits of despotism.
In his mind, he has, and still is doing a great job.

Not my most intellectually stimulating post but what the heck....
GORDON BROWN IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT WORK.
HE LEADETH ME BESIDE THE STILL FACTORIES.
HE RESTORETH MY FAITH IN THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY.
HE GUIDETH ME IN THE PATH OF UNEMPLOYMENT.
YEA, THOUGH I WAIT FOR MY DOLE,
I OWN THE BANK THAT REFUSES ME.
BROWN HAS ANNOINTED MY INCOME WITH TAXES,
MY EXPENSES RUNNETH OVER MY INCOME,
SURELY, POVERTY AND HARD LIVING WILL FOLLOW ME ALL THE
DAYS OF HIS TERM.
FROM HENCE FORTH WE WILL LIVE ALL THE DAYS
OF OUR LIVES IN A RENTED HOME WITH AN OVERSEAS LANDLORD.
I AM GLAD I AM BRITISH,
I AM GLAD I AM FREE.
BUT I WISH I WERE A DOG
AND BROWN WAS A TREE.

Anyone who knows anything about macroeconomics knows that brown was partly responsible what has happened. Blaming the bankers is just soo dishonest. Being a student oo history he should have known that bubbles fulled by debt always end in crashes. Reputable economists went on the record saying that there would a high chance of a crash way back from 2004, even the bank of england expressed on concerns about the high levels of growing debt and rising house prices but as chancellor he ignored it and did nothing and allowed it to continue. He even removed house price inflation from the offical inflation target so that the bank of england could fuel the unsustainable boom and excess credit by keeping interest rates low. If he thinks in his delusional world that's not being responsible for the mess were in then Clarkson is right on the button, this guy really is a scottish idiot!

Vindicated
That was actually quite good, especially the last 2 lines.
But how did he restore your faith in the Conservative Party - did I miss something where by they said they'd actually do something different to labour and/or predict what was going to happen like Vince Cable did and everyone here.
So if you don't mind I'd appreciate the third line being re-written.
But apart from that very good.

In the 1700 the people sent the chancellor to prison for allowing the south sea bubble to wreck the economy.
We should throw Brown in jail for crimes against the the economy, specifically for defacing sterling.
He might as well have set fire to a big pile of the stuff.

McBrown is completely deluded with his own self importance. It looks like the labour party is gradually turning against him. Vince Cable for Chancellor in a coalition governmten

Why should he apologise? Just because he saw this coming and chose to do nothing? Or because he everythign we earned as a nation and what our children will earn?

The fact that he can't bring himself to apologise tells me he really is psychologically flawed. Any normal person, faced with the evidence we have, would have to put their hands up and admit 'I f**ked up. I was in charge of the economy for 12 years and didn't see what was happening, in fact made things worse. I am very sorry for all the pain and trauma that people are going through as a result. I will resign and call an election'. The fact that he can't do that makes him a very dangerous man. He is living in a fantasy world. Who knows what he could do next?

Thanks very much but they're not my words! I pinched it from a funny email someone sent me today. I too would re-write the whole conservative thing... maybe I should have done that before posting!!
