Guardian .co.uk: Police try to forestall 'innovative' G20 summit protesters
Police are facing two days of unprecedented protest by a collaboration of "innovative and clever" direct action groups during the G20 summit in London, a senior officer said yesterday.

Clocks go forward next Sunday, not today. Check direct.gov.uk for details. Most of Europe is on the same schedule as us, but some other countries are different - America already went forward.

Interesting that the police expect "violent" protests. In my experience the people causing the violence at protests are usually ... the police. Disappointing that the grauniad uncritically voices these pseudo concerns too, on behalf of the police state, thereby discouraging people from exercising their democratic rights.
