Mr Moore told the IoS yesterday: "Brown must go. He cannot remain in office. He has presided over the biggest boom in the history of the country as well as one of the biggest busts. But he promised no more boom and bust. He must be held accountable for his failure to oversee the stability of the country.

"Brown presided over a policy based on excessive consumer spending based on excessive consumer credit based on massively increasing property prices, which were caused by excessively easy credit which could only ultimately lead to disaster. But no, in Gordon's mind it was all caused by global events beyond his and anyone else's control."

Oh the joy of hearing someone talking sense after all the cr*p that's been said! It's sad of think of the misery Brown's arrogant, lying incompetence has caused but sounds like the public's eyes are being opened. Brown bashing is in fashion!
Maybe the Tories wouldn't have great solutions but at least if they got in they wouldn't try to defend what 's been going on under NuLiebour.

Yes, yes, yes and yes again.
The pig has finally been loaded onto the spit and the coals are being lit.

Why has it taken so long for people to see Brown and is "debt economy" for what it is?

It may be a theory that the universe is expanding, but it is also a theory(never yet proved wrong-) that all bubbles burst. All those that held that this bubble could never burst should be held accountable. That includes the labour party, the FSA, the financial sector, and the rest of the illiterate scum that lead us into this mess.
