I don't think the £750m is just on housing. It will include costs for demolitions, infrastructure & landscaping, plus extortionate fees to pointless consultants.

You'd be surprised by the costs involved over and above the actual building costs. (I'm a QS by the way)

You're right though, any government scheme that I've been involved with has wasted millions.
