It is not just negligence it is culpability. GB enjoyed all the extra revenue just as much as the bankers enjoyed their bonuses.

Labour will soon realise that if they stick behind Brown then the entire party will probably become unelectable for at least a generation.
If they allow Brown to carry the can, they may just save the future of the Labour party. However, I don't think the ejection of Brown will be quite yet, maybe mid-summer.
It's clear though, that the fans are being primed, the vats of brown stuff loaded and targetted towards those fans and a platform between those fans and the brown stuff is being readied for Mr Brown.
God, life is good! I've waited a long team to witness the demise of this rancid despot.

How short memories are,......... Turner me old mate, look up Eddie Georges comments to the Treasury sub Committee following the first ten years of the MPC, then tell me again that nobody saw this coming.
As for 2004 being the year when you noticed that the economy was past its tipping point, you were about a year late.
I would go on but it would be pointless.

The csale of the oversight required to generate this mess is beyond belief. Therefore one must ask, was it deliberately engineered? If so by whom? and for what purpose? I once thought conspiracy theories to be drawn from the realms of the deluded, now I am less sure.
If an elite wanted numerous serfs, what better way to go about it.
However history demonstates that even serfs can be revolting at times.
