I'm not holding my breath for house price falls either.
I've made a note in my diary to have a tentative look in mid 2010.

I am fully prepared for price rises..........it makes sense that cash buyers who are uncertain about the safety of their money will be returning to the market to buy....as for prices going up? I see no justification there.... only that sellers are trying raise to asking prices to soak up the 30%+ reduction in price OFFERED from potential buyers.......let me tell you all that I know there are house price falls of a magnitude before unseen..............house prices going to rise in a depression?????? hmmm let me think!!!!!!!!!!.....England have more chance of winning in rugby today

It would appear that England's mid game rally was something akin to a "dead cat bounce" ho hum!
