British builders are an adventurous lot and being a manly occupation you can't get a building job much more macho than this for bragging rights.

On the nother hand they may just like the thought of getting a bit of National Geographic Chanel nature first hand.

"The thing that is most striking is the stunning scenery. You feel very small. You find yourself in this gigantic landscape where the horizon is a long way off and you can see icebergs the size of cathedrals."

Can't think of a better way to get away all the hassle of the UK at the moment as well though!
