Deeper and deeper we go.....

Timesonline: 'Independent' KPMG earned millions from HBOS

The "independent" experts hired by HBOS to investigate allegations of serious failings at the bank in 2005 had been receiving millions of pounds in fees from the company for years.
KPMG, which was hired by Lord Stevenson of Coddenham, the HBOS chairman at the time, to investigate claims by the whistle-blower Paul Moore, received fees for auditing, tax advice, information technology work and compliance advice.
HBOS, which is now part of Lloyds, declined to comment. LOL

HBOS is effectively bust without the government/taxpayer bailout. This says a lot more that any 'investigation' or audit by KPMG.

Do we have another Enron / Arthur Andersen relationship here?

Evening Troy, Malc, not quite sure how you wish to be addressed now.

I had a brief look at the website you mentioned yesterday. Read a couple of the articles/book passages.

Will get back to you in 2099, once I've had a chance to go through it all!

Seriously though, thanks for pointing me in the direction of some new/interesting reading material.

hi flintster, according to R, D Llaing we are all at least dual personalities because we have to deal with real reality and the enforced reality, created society makes us all schitzo. So whether I'm troy (my best friend [died 2004] or Malct is neither here nor there.

Yamagouchy has done amazing work collecting and making available past eforts by caring people. You are right of course it is huge, and some who take part here on HPC will never be able to get their heads around what he has on offer and the masses of other stuff out there, but that won't stop me and others from speaking out. - try truthseeker on 7/7 an inside job, just like the banks

Malc,

I'm sure that Troy was an incredible person; may he rest in peace.

The journey is difficult but damn interesting!

One thing that I can't help thinking though is:

Are we really at the point in time where things really are changing rapidly?

Are we about to enter some sort of "new era"?

I'm sure that I'll be able to answer that question soon.
