Looks like 2009 model Bovis homes will be of lower quality construction than the 2007/8 versions then; they may have just sealed their own death warrant. The sub-contractors who can't cut their costs may well turn out to be the lucky ones when the first major house-builder goes bust.

how much does it actually cos Bovis etc to build a house? I was looking round a new estate a few months back astonished that they wanted 160k for a house that looks like one I could build with 60k and a couple trips to b&q
