Nice to know that the private sector is so generous with it's money!!

Daily Telegraph: £35 billion black hole in council pensions

Do you wonder why councils are really cutting the number of rubbish collections? Well it's so they can save the money for their pension!

..........and this is part of the reason for encouraging high and totally unaffordable property prices with their associated taxes.

Also here is a warning for the public sector (as if they don't suspect). Their pensions are going to go the same way as the private sector without doubt. Not that the fat cats in this sector will suffer, they will always be looked after by the hidden contract of privilege and nepotism, unlike this sector's real workers.

Moral indignation is the politics of jealousy with a self-affixed halo.

It's hysterical posts worded like this which gets this site mocked so much. How ironic that your ID is "Plato".

What scares the hell out of me, is that many millions of houses in the UK pay council tax on what there houses were valued for, at the beginning of the 1990's.

I can see all the councils banding together over the next few years, and recategorizing which Class your house falls into. Thus introducing a very sharp increase in council tax for most of us.

[The very same people who lost tens of millions of pounds investing in Icelandic banks, then retiring on overblown pensions, funded by yours truly! The Tax payer!]
