Lawyers getting busier than EAs
The National: Financial storm engulfs property
DUBAI // Ludmila Yamalova, a partner and lawyer at MAC Davidson and Associates in Dubai, spends many of her waking hours in the hectic headquarters of the Land Department and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) just trying to find out what is going on.
“I basically live in their offices,” Ms Yamalova says. “All of these investors, who are my clients, are in trouble and there is nowhere else to go to find out how it is going to be resolved.”
