cnn: From broker to bartender

In fact, many of the bartenders, bouncers and servers employed at Mash's clubs are out-of-work mortgage brokers, loan officers and real estate brokers, he said.

Bailiffs would make the best bouncers - but they're not out of work.

The immigrants are all going home. They'd rather be paid in strong Zlotys than in weak Pounds.

Got a lift back from the pub some days back - talking to the taxi driver he had been an estate agent until the current downturn had forced a career change. Felt so sorry for him, I gave him a tip.

Estate agents aren't that bad really. They don't set the market prices. When you stop to think about it, estate agents actually find it easier to make a quick cheap sale rather than hold out for a higher price.
