BTL mortgage holders now offered "golden goodbye"

mortgagestrategy: Mortgage Express waives ERCs to help customers leave

Mortgage Express, the broker-facing arm of nationalised lender Bradford & Bingley, is encouraging borrowers to remortgage elsewhere by waiving early repayment charges. The lender has advised brokers that clients coming to the end of their deal between February 1 and June 30 2009 will be able to move their mortgage to another lender without incurring ERCs.

We're playing those mind games together,
Pushing barriers, planting seeds,
Playing the mind guerilla,
Chanting the Mantra peace on earth,
We all been playing mind games forever,
Some kinda druid dudes lifting the veil.
Doing the mind guerilla,
Some call it the search for the grail,
Love is the answer and you know that for sure,
Love is flower you got to let it, you got to let it grow,
So keep on playing those mind games together,
Faith in the future outta the now,
You just can't beat on those mind guerillas,
Absolute elsewhere in the stones of your mind,
Yeah we're playing those mind games forever,
Projecting our images in space and in time,
Yes is the answer and you know that for sure,
Yes is the surrender you got to let it, you got to let it go,
So keep on playing those mind games together,
Doing the ritual dance inn the sun,
Millions of mind guerrillas,
Putting their soul power to the karmic wheel,
Keep on playing those mind games forever,
Raising the spirit of peace and love, not war,
(I want you to make love, not war, I know you've heard it before)

JOHN LEMON what would this site be without you Malct?

I thought coming to the end of their deal meant there was no tie in, guess these people must have signed upto extended tie ins.

Reference a conversation yesterday about number of available products, apparently (according to Evan Davis's programme tonight) Northern Rock on it's own was writing a substantial amount of the mortgage market business. I don't know how many products they had or how many were at 125% LTV's.

My point, you only need one good/bad product (depending on your viewpoint and people will flock to it.

Banks can turn their coat overnight from unruly lending practice to credit crunch. The degree of inconsistency can be speculacular. UK seems to have entered phase one of credit crunch these days.
