Believe it or not I think they are actually allowing this. (VAT & Corporation taxes for businesses anyway).

Delaying a budget sounds very ominous and not the sort of thing that inspires confidence.

Q So Alistair just what is the financial situation.

A Err well , it's very complicated in fact so much so we've decided puuting off telling the general public 'til April when in actual fact green shoots will be appearing everywhere (at the end of branches). Yes we feel this will cheer everyone up enourmously and the recession should then be over by the summer.

THE FUTURES BRIGHT. THE FUTURES BROWN.

The futures bright the futres Brown,
can't you smell it all over town?
Trust in him, don't wear a thrown,
he will do the job of bringing us down.
He promised you all no more boom and bust.
Brown can save the world all he needs is your trust,
but can't you smell the bull it's all over town.
It's all because of Prudent Brown.
He is the unelected who is in despair.
The man who snatched the left overs from Tony Blair.
