Big law firms are feeling crunch pangs
The Lawyer: UK 200 Total Redundancies: 2157
The top 200 Law Firms in the UK have so far provided P45s to 2,157 staff. Most of these have come from Clifford Chance although Hammonds conveyancing arm has recently gone into administration, possibly resulting in thousands of other redundancies.

Another business sector heavily dependent on the financial con industry, deployed to justify the unjustifiable exploitation of the public. Genuine lawyers are those who protect the vulnerable (not referring to brainless BTL speculators) in society for justice, rather than those protect the greedy pursuit of wealth at the cost of the weak.
