We only had 80,000 EAs in this country? It felt more like 800,000. It felt like there were about 800 in my town alone.

So only 48,000 left out there now? They are endangered!! We need to save and mummify a few of them for preservation!

Seller "I want to sell my pad for 800K."
EA "Its worth thruppence."
Seller "Actually, make that 900K."
etc..

48,000 estate agents, and 17,700 mortgage approvals last month.

Annualised this works out at 4.4 sales per estate agent per year.
