When the dust settles Gordon Brown will face the music
FT Blog: The Brown bubble and Brown bust
Some interesting manipulation regarding the extent of Brown's boom and bust, followed by some interesting comments.
A flurry of redundancy announcements in the New Year will see the resurgence of Brown bashing and rightly so IMHO.

He may face many loud accusations that he is largely responsible for the biggest boom in UK history and the bust but if his track record is anything to go by he will go to his grave telling everyone/anyone who will listen that he was careful and prudent and that this problem was caused by the USA.
The truth is Clown received the biggest tax windfall any chancellor could ever dream of and SPENT THE LOT leaving nothing in the bank for a long and cold rainy day.
Crack addicts show more fiscal responsibility that Gordon Clown.

I'm really happy for him to believe whatever he want's but if the British public vote him in I will truly despair. I'm silently awaiting the backlash against Nu Labour and their incompetent leader.
As well as achieving nothing that has improved the country over the last 10 years, the Labour government are almost certainly taking us towards bankruptcy.
