Yep, that certainly cheered me up, and reminds me to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas. Thank you to all the experts, philosophers and humourists who have managed to shed some light in dark times and kept me half way sane.
Someone gave me a nice laminated copy of Desiderata for Christmas - it is now nailed placidly to my landlord's kitchen wall. I especially like the part that says, "Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery". Seems the old wisdom is the best.
