the SUN: 400 jobs at risk as The Pier fails
ANOTHER 400 high street jobs are at risk after The Pier became the latest high street retailer to collapse today.
Administrators were appointed to try and find a buyer for the home furnishings business, which runs 31 stores and 17 concessions across the UK.

I was wondering how that tat store ever survived. Position yourselves to buy shops/workshops in 2-4yrs if you want to start a business, once its bottomed.

The problem is the stock they sell, dark wood furniture, when light oak colours are in fashion, plus they are overpriced, even when a sale is on.
