How far will oil rise?
Market Oracle: Crude Oil Forecast 2009 - Time to buy
"No one could have imagined a little over 4 months ago with crude oil trading at $147, that crude oil would have crashed by 70% and be threatening to break below $40 so soon. Therefore this analysis seeks to to evaluate the prospects for crude oils future trend over the next 12months in determining whether crude oil today is a good buy or not."

Crude oil will soon be $23424 a barrell, think I read that in the Hollyoaks Calendar..

Oil is following Calleman's Calactic Underworld nicely.
It's December 1998 low of $10.35 was right at the begining of the cycle(5 Jan 1999)
The peak of $147 in July was right at the mapped "fifth night" end-of-WW2 date.
My forecast is that it will hit $400+ in April 2010 (maps to the the "sixth night" mid-point in 1980)
3. digdug said...
Is the Calactic Underworld close to the Lost City of Atlantis? Does anyone remember the Lost City of Gold? Bloody hell that cartoon went on forever!! Always flying around on that fecking golden eagle at the end.. what the hell was THAT all about!?

s2r1 you do know you sound like a complete nutter. I guess that's the cross that prophets like you and jesus have just got to bear. You will be proved right in the long run. Stay strong!
As an aside your predicitons have been sh!te to date, gold was meant to be $1500 an ounce in July.

I was right about oil crahing from its $147 high.
Search Google "oil peak 6 july site:housepricecrash.co.uk"
and read the posts from the summer.
Gold will have its day - April 2010.

Didn't you "bail" and buy a house in May 2007?

Oil price is hovering around $40 exactly as I predicted six months ago. It will further decline to reach 20-30 level; My predictons still stands.

so Malct and P4AC really have been banned then?
this thread would have drawn them in

No way. Malct and P4ac banned? Too good to be true, surely. Perhaps the government finally got to them??

theboltonfury,
Yep. Banned - for good.
Soon this site will just be tracking the crash - and offering no understanding of the real underlying issues.
15. bellwether said...
boltonfury the thing is at some level i would actually miss them, and i've just not taken the time to explain that to them.
16. theboltonfury said...
P4AC probably inadvertently canned himself
17. theboltonfury said...
I miss them too. P4AC used to make me howl with laughter.
I have found my peace with S2R1 after a year of extreme derision.

19. digdug said...
If the Lost city of Gold does exist (and I think we can safely assume that it does) then what will the effect of $1500 gold have on the likelihood of its discovery? Im guessing more people will look for it..
20. bellwether said...
and at least they are safer now, having stopped advertising all the gold and tinned squash they've for stored away for the impending end of days.

Thefurrybolton, I sense much anger in you! Anger leads to hate and to the darkside! May the force be with you!
22. theboltonfury said...
I couldn't be any less angry if I tried. That is until I am forced to sit through the performance of that 16 year old, big haired pillock who keeps crying on the X - Factor each week. Then I get angry.
Other than that - calmness rules
Like what you've done with the old name thing there as well
23. digdug said...
Its the final on Saturday so any remaining X factor related misery will soon be a distant memory.. Vote Alexandra, Buy Gold!

I guess you thought that if I was all three, then 1 conspiraloon can be discounted.
I actually share different views to malct and P4AC, although we would agree on many things too.
The Guardian article (deleted by webmaster) about climate change posted yesterday illustrated that the conspiraloons are multiplying.
As with all exponential growth functions, how long will it be before the conspiraloons hold the "consensus reality"?; 2-3 years maybe.

I went to a conference at the end of last year where there were 400 climate scientists - a substantial increase from the 200 that turned up the previous year. Now, if there's an exponential relationship there we could be looking at 1.6million climate scientists flying to san francisco to meet up by 2020. In the future there will be no humans - only conspiraloons and climate scientists.

LOL - Don't you know conspiraloons only ever go up.
I just imagined this new blog with "troll" names like "rational thinker" who terrorise the blog with their scientifically proven concepts.
The home crowd will chase them away with their intuitive and unconditioned thinking.
Set it up, man.

Didn't buy. Even then, you were dragging the site down some vortex of gold-pushing survivalist fantasy. You appear to be fulfilling your potential.
I am interested how you conflate your gold fever with your "change of conciousness" diatribe. Gold-mining is one of the brutal of all industries (with the exception of oil, of course). I wonder how you live with yourself whilst you push your humanistic karma.

Nice find renting2
‘The number of Elvies Presley impersonators has reached an all-time record high - there are now at least 85,000 Elvis’s around the world, compared to only 170 in 1957 when he died. At this rate of growth, experts predict that by 2019 Elvis impersonators will make up a third of the world population.’

inflation,

I was talking about a depression back in May 2007. Most people (including you) disagreed with me then.
I think you will find that my "consciousness change" didn't really get going until November 2007.
Let's see who is right on gold. Come back again in April 2010.

Soon, there will be/already is, affordable free energy. Isn't that fact?
Some people can equate it with a timeline prediction - that's up to them.
It does affect house prices because the complex stock market contracts hav assumptions built into them about the value of oil.
We have already seen how a re-evaluation of the worth of contracts affects house prices.
I do enjoy reading people's reactions to each other on this site. And I agree with a point made yesterday: the hpc is old news now - reading the conversations keep me
coming back to the site.

If p4c and malct really have been disconnected, I feel a bit uncomfortable about that. They certainly had a big axe to grind but one could easily ignore their posts if they were annoying. I posted the climate change article yesterday that has been removed, somewhat to my surprise as there have been a few similar in the past. Yes, it was not about hpc (though the topic does have economic implications) but many posts are now about broader economic items anyway, and the other topics do generate a lot of interest, judging by the large number of comments.
As myself and bidn'matime remarked a while ago, the main thrust of this site has dissipated somewhat as the hpc is now well under way. Personally I think there is room for a few offbeat posts, even though I regard the conspiracy and long-wave stuff as pretty far out, not to say plain daft. So perhaps the webmaster might reconsider the decision over p4c and malct. The main thing is that people should not be rude to one another, and though these two were occasionally, other members here have said much worse.
45. pelethar said...
I disagree, letthemfall. It's not good when people are rude to each other but I think flooding a website with irrelevant nonsense, to the extent that you begin to corrode and change that website, is worse. It's not about homogenising the site - this has always been full of lively, informed debate - but those people were harming the site. In my opinion. So if they've been banned, good. I think they should hoof a few more of them off while they're at it and perhaps just keep s2r1 as the token tin hat representative, like a zoo exhibit.
46. rumble said...
s2r1, "intuitive and unconditioned thinking"
Intuitive - you mean unfounded.
Unconditioned - you mean counter.
Sorry mate, counter to your belief, you are not objective, simply facing a different direction. There's your enlightenment.
47. letthemfall said...
pelethar
I don't think they are really flooding this site; the majority of posts are still related to the main topic. It is very easy just to pass over the posts one disapproves of. But it is interesting that these posts attract a very large number of comments. I think we kind of like them.
48. nopensionnohouse said...
Well well well, Spamming4acrash and Malct have been banned! It is a fine day for common sense! Well done admin :o)
I wish I had joined meetingplace to hear the bleatings. Dam.
I like pelethar’s Zoo comment. Lol. I can use LOL now because Malct won’t have a go at me.
Nah bugger it I’m going to go for it: IMHO GTFO!
He he he he. Feels good.
Sorry letthemfall I disagree with you completely. Not withstanding the fact that OK, house prices are actually crashing and a blind man on a galloping horse can understand that this is old news already, I think the likes of malct and P4ac certainly accelerated the demise of this site.
I said right at the very beginning when s2r1 started spouting his stuff this would harm the site and drive people away. Well guess what. It did. That’s why I felt the need to argue with them as much as I did.
This is the best news day since the landregistry data turned negative!

Funny:
The entrance of Merrick's flat has since been bricked up , and the interiors now house the hospital catering department, but the windows out which Merrick would view the world are still there , hidden behind shelves of canned goods. He became a celebrity, even entertaining royalty.

Remember consciousness has some great form for "spannering" mainstream point of views.
And as HPC is now (or rapidly approaching) a mainstream view - better watch out for the twist in the story.

Armstrong and Calleman models both have metaphysical qualities.

npnh - no, of course he can't. We've asked many times.
s2r1 - your silliness is encapsulated when you say:
***"As with all exponential growth functions, how long will it be before the conspiraloons hold the "consensus reality"?; 2-3 years maybe."***
Hopefully, reason will out, but even if a majority of people believe a silly thing, it still doesn't make it right. Don't you see that?
