So, an excuse to inflate asking prices by 33% relative to the market closing prices, maybe in order to maintain the pretence these homes are worth the inflated amounts. Insulting people's intelligence won't sell homes. And people aren't so stupid - at least when it comes to their hard earned, being frittered on a scam marketing ploy. Drop asking prices 50% without silly clauses, and they will sell if they're good.

I'm sure when I read this, it was in reality, buy 100%, own 100%, but pay 75% now and pay back the other 25% within 10 years!
I think the crux of this "deal" is based on "we will give you your 25% deposit"..
No deal.

"This enables you to own 100% of your home but pay as little as 75% of the asking price. We'll pay the remaining balance and you simply pay us back within 10 years."
..the first line is fraudulent miss-selling, IMHO, as it gives the reader the impression they own 100% when infact they only own 75%. There must be laws against this, as it is using language to confound and confuse. No-one on this site would overlook the obvious, but there are many out there who would. Persimon should be indicted.

Oh it gets even better when you look into it and see that everything they are selling is still way way way overpriced when compared to similar houses on propertysnake.

The outstanding 25% is hardly a problem. Who expects Persimmon to still be around at the end of next year let alone in ten years time!
