Thats awful. This is so emblematic of the failure of this goervnment.

There won't be much festive spirit in your local woolies.

If I were a line manager there I'd make it interim company policy for all employees to come to work drunk.

Wollies should have gone bust years ago, at least a few years back staff would have had a chance to find new jobs. What is their hope today in this job market ?

Ouch! Now that's a story worth posting. What a horrible Christmas for everyone involved - couldn't have come at a worse time :(

I suspect alot of retailers will cut their losses in the New Year.

If they struggled this year it will only be worse over the next 2 years.

I remeber an article a while back showing an American Shopping Mall with 150 odd units, only 5 were still occupied.
