Of course, one BTLoser doesn't make a crash. Even I think that falling back to 1993 levels seems unrealistic - unless rents were much higher back then? The inflation alone must have had some effect.

I rent number 34 for £900 down from a £950 asking price. It's a refurbished 2 bed bungalow that the developer could not sell, even at cost to him with no profit margin.

Number 30 is up for let at a lower £900 asking. It looks the same as mine and has also just been fully refurbished but it's a much bigger 3 bed. It's on with the same agent and where ours was let quickly in line with most decent houses a few months back, the one two doors down has now been available for over a month.
