Times: Gordon Brown left red-faced in Commons after world saviour gaffe
Faced by David Cameron's first question, on why his multi-billion-pound banks bailout had failed to filter down to the taxpayer, the PM replied: "We not only saved the world..." When Mr Cameron rose to his feet again, he couldn't resist the first of several gibes. "Well, it's now on the record..." he said, causing more hysteria. "He is so busy talking about saving the world, he has forgotten about the businesses in the country that he's meant to be governing."

to rescue Britain's banks, Gordon Brown was lauded as a "magician" by Germany, copied unashamedly by President Bush - and even praised as a genius by the new Nobel economics laureate.
Well maybe it was a honest slip...?

God help us, sounds like we have a crowd of schoolboys running the country!
How can Brown have saved the world, he was the one who let things get so F***ed up, with his low interest rates and light-touch bank regulation, so that our financial institutions are now a joke? And he's now making things worse!

In a way it would be interesting to see what happens if GBrown does get elected for another 5 years, imagine the huge socialist experiment mess, the mind truly boggles. GBrown can be summed up as clueless but cunning, misguided yet single minded, bumbling but lucky, incompetent yet hmm just incompetent, anybody else care to add ?
I hope he gets voted into power.
