Not a very well written article this, going over lots of old ground about LLL in it's original form and missing the very interesting undertone to the recent one off programme.
I actually thought there was a distinct sense of finality to this show with Allsop putting in an almost morose performance. But the really interesting thing was Phil Spencer putting in pretty bearish offers on places. This will have been watched by a lot of prospective buyers and sellers who are still amazingly ill informed about the market as a whole. There was a sense of perhaps an end to the DENIAL phase of the HPC being broadcast to the nation by HPIs most public and popular advocates. Don't under estimate the power of this medium and it's parishoners.

Anyway, iniside story is LLL is unlikely to resurface again, apparently Krusty's next TV gig involves her buying an old barn or wreck of some sort and developing it using only "local crafts people" - probably all EAs who've re trained as chippies!
