Into the fourth year of house price declines! Not so sure it will take as long as that here!

Bloomberg: Sales of New Houses in U.S. Fall to Lowest Since 1991

Nov. 26 (Bloomberg) -- New-home sales in the U.S. fell in October to the lowest level in 17 years as the credit crunch deprived potential buyers of needed financing.
Purchases dropped 5.3 percent to an annual pace of 433,000, lower than forecast and the fewest since January 1991, the Commerce Department said today in Washington. The median sales price decreased to a four-year low. Other Commerce reports today showed consumer and business spending tumbled last month.
