House Prices Recovering at an Astronomical Rate

Telegraph: House sales pick up as sellers become realistic

The number of properties changing hands rose for the second consecutive month in October as sellers began to price their homes more realistically. Earlier this week it emerged that sellers had cut their asking prices by almost 3pc in just four weeks.

3pc?!?! Was overvalued by 60% and now a 3% drop is 'realistic' - right then. In your dreams rampers! I suppose this drivel needs to be put on the site so that we can observe how the media tackle the crash. Does get boing after a while though and makes you wonder who listens to such nonsense. Saying that, it is amazing how many people are fooled by this nonsense (although they probably have no deposit, no chance of a mortgage and no clue). A few people have been telling me about 'great value' out there now because 'their uncle got a house for 10k less than...rant rant etc etc'. When will they learn? If only they understood - it would be quicker and less painful for everybody. Bring on the half price houses.

I would like to nominate Chris Brown, the president of the NAEA, as being the biggest BullShi*ter of the Decade.
Realism is a threefold reduction.
Back to 2000 prices.
