For richer or for poorer.....
Telegraph: Recession: When the money goes, so does the toxic wife
'You loser!" screamed Katie, aiming a vase at her husband. "You've destroyed my life,'' she continued, hurling it. "Just look at my hair, look at my nails! You loser, you jerk, you nobody."

Inevitable bi-products of a bubble economy, which were rampantly seen in the late 80's Tokyo.

some people have absolutely no brains at all. Easy come easy go. They'll find something else to occupy their minds.

This is desperately sad for the children involved, my heart goes out to them. They can't help loving their mommy and daddy even if their mommy is an utterly selfish brat. Very very sad.

This is one of funniest and saddest articles I have seen for a long time from the Telegraph, and is part of strange phenonmenon; they seem superficially to be for the first time questioning the suppositions on which the damn paper is founded (money is not to be questioned or touched, "privilege works" being the cornerstone of all their ideals above all others and is the great engine of society).
The article almost constitutes revisionism. By the way, did anyone see the very popular series "Goldplated", or get the DVD of that soldout seies?

If a man marries a trophy wife (easy to spot one), he has to accept the consequences of when he is no longer to maintain her lifestyle.
Simple transaction, no money = no trophy wife.
Also, feel the article has a sense of bias or bitterness about it, come on no one is that evil. I googled the ladie's name, I am sure she is very nice but it mentioned she was a divorcee, hmmmm......Perhaps husband went off with a toxic wife?

absolutely agreed LDOD. There is talk by some MP's of this being an economic war, would they describe these innocent children as collateral damages? With great wealth comes great power, and with great power comes great responsibility, pity most of these selfish idiots who made the money during the booms and their even more selfish hangers-on failed to grasp the last bit of the social equation.
